Grow a Lemon tree. Lemons perform so many beneficial things which, in a time of limited resources or struggles, lemons become essential. Need an antiseptic? Use lemons. Need to boost your immunities? Use lemons. Want to flavor or season otherwise bland food? Lemons work well. Need to clean surfaces or scrub stains? Use lemon juice. Need deodorant? Lemon juice mixed with baking soda (after the bubble reaction subsides) can be rubbed under your armpits and left for 5-10 minutes, then washed off. Kills odor-causing bacteria. Mouth wash? Lemon juice works (or is at least better than nothing). Heck, want to cook raw fish when you have no other way of cooking? Soak the fish in lemon juice to make "ceviche" which makes healthy food with minimal resources. During the Great Depression, having a Lemon tree often helped people survive horrible circumstances. Plant Jerusalem Artichokes? Sure this is a good video....but really want to survive horrid living conditions? Grow lemon trees.

This is amazing! I have recently conceptually gotten into gardening - as in I haven't purchased my property yet, though I hope to do so within the next 6 months. In the meantime, I have been doing all kinds of research. As I have been learning more, I've been thinking of how I (as a type A personality) am going to keep myself organized and on task. My mom is a software engineer, and I was thinking I would probably have her design something for me. Since she is retiring soon (within in a year at the most) she will have the free time to do that...but now I can use Seedtime instead!

They are actually considered as doping among professional cyclists. On the Tour de France it is strictly forbidden to consume. They would eat them before getting on the bikes, and sustain on the energy. When the gas pressure buildup was adequate, they used it for a little speed boost, while others behind them hold more distance. Only once some accidents started to occur, the organisers quickly passed the ban. One particular accident involved Michel Flambeu, who was "passing the 'choke", while cycling along a crowd. Typical, the black and white striped shirt wearing onlooker had a lit cigarette in his hand, which ignited the gas. Michel accellerated at an incredible speed, went over a guardrail- straight into a ravine, where he burst into flames. There now grows a memorial patch of Jerusalem Artichoke, which some say spread from the original tuber in his gut.

We all know that prices of almost everything aren’t coming down. Simply put, they're rising less. Costs are rising due to rising inflation. As we are evidently at the verge of hyperinflation, with the less haves bearing the brunt of the burden. I'm more concerned that the rising inflation may lead my entire $990k retirement funds to lose value. Where else could we put our cash?

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. To be completely honest, the information provided by invt-advisors can only be ignored but not neglected. Simply undertake research to choose a trustworthy one.

Do NOT grow this plant! For one, it taste terrible, and for two, IF you do plant it to survive on, it is the only thing you will have because it will take over everything else. I made a mistake and planted some once... that area to this day is unusable. That was 20 years ago.

Here are the points: 1. Learn to raise your own provisions (food) 2. Always have an emergency fund ($1,000 or 3 to 6 months of expenses $30,000 3. Be a self sufficient DIY. Do your own (fix things in house, mechanics, tie knots) 4. Do not buy things if its not with cash. NO CC. 5. Take whatever job you can and be the best you can there. 6. FINAL POINT: Live simple, frugal life.

Those who insist on taking us away from nature is Satanic. God made nature and they want us to consume man made products (GMO). They want to do away with all of God's works and modify it to where they are gods. May God make nature flourish and take over whatever they touch to bring it back to its intention. May they fail in their attempts to erase God.

When I use "head and shoulders" shampoo brand I always end up "having a blurred vision (very very slightly)". When I use the "DM balea shampoo (that advertises itself as being free of lots of supposedly dangerous plastics and such)" I don't. However I still like to use the "head and shoulders" from time to time. Because I've always just used that one. And when I use it I immediately rinse it out. It doesn't even stay on my head for a whole minute. The balea has a minty odor. When I exclusively just use that one, after like a month I feel like missing something. I got a very very good eyesight. Soo good it's kinda hurting (when I take in too much blue and stare too much), thus I have to actively "not focus on things". I get headaches when I open my eyes on everything and take in too much visual information. I swear it's the same with pc components. Sure the "9s" are supposed to be better and do clock faster but at what price (I don't mean money). The "7s" on the other hand don't "bang" as hard, and you can relax in comparison. When you do make an analogy to fans, then the 7 bladed ones do push through as much air as possible, the 9 blades ones do push through less air, but with waaaaaay more pressure. This is just like green and blue. Much volume with less pressure VS less volume with more pressure.

I disagree, stevia in dried leaves is safe and does not cause depression nor does it significantly alter the gut microbiome. I don't know who carried out these studies, but it would be interesting to know who financed them, since stevia has been consumed by the Guaraní for centuries.
